I finally decided to make a video about alcohol.

I have been thinking about it for a while trying to decide if I should talk about alcohol in my posts and videos or not.

I feel that the more we know about living a healthy lifestyle the more we make our own conscious decisions when it comes to choosing healthy food and drinking alcohol or not.

That said I also believe that there are healthier options to everything we do, eat, and drink and if by reading this email or watching my video can inspire you to make a healthier choice, it is worth talking about it!

Every single small improvement that we make in our life makes a big difference over time.

I would like to share with you a few items you should consider when choosing your next adult refreshment.

Today I would like to talk specifically about beer. I know beer is one of the most popular drinks, especially in the summer.

Sorry to be a party pooper but here are a few reasons why beer is not the best option to choose if you want to lose weight and stay slim and healthy.

Today I would like to talk about alcohol… I have been thinking if I should create this video or not for awhile because I feel that the more we know about living a healthy lifestyle the more conscious our decisions will be when it comes to choosing healthy food and drinking alcohol or not. That said I also believe that there are healthier options to everything we do, eat, and drink and if by watching this video you are inspired to make a healthier choice, it is worth talking about it. Every single small improvement that we make in our life makes a big difference over time. I would like to share with you a few things you should consider when choosing your adult refreshment. Today I would like to talk specifically about beer. I know beer is one of the most popular drinks, especially in the summer. Sorry to be a party pooper but here are a few reasons why beer is not the best option to choose if you want to lose weight and stay slim and healthy.

#1. Let me ask you a question… Do you know where beer bellies and love handles come from? Beer is estrogen forming which causes weight gain in women and men. Elevated estrogen levels in men can cause accumulating fat on specific parts of the body like the belly, love handles, and breasts.

#2. Beer is mostly wheat based and can trigger an allergic reaction and inflammation if you are gluten intolerant.

#3. Most commercial beers are processed with chemicals and toxic additives. Toxins and chemicals in our body are fat triggers that make us gain weight.

#4. Beer is a source of empty calories and sugar. First of all, sugar turns into fat in our body causing weight gain. It also creates inflammation and many inflammation related health problems.

#5. Beer is yeast based and can cause candida and yeast overgrowth in your digestive track. Both will slow down your digestion and contribute to a fast weight gain.

#6. Beer is highly acidic. It is one of the most acidic foods with a pH level of 3.5. It destroys the healthy pH level in your gut. Acidic environment in our body is the perfect ground for bacterias, tumors, and cancers to grow.

To be totally honest I don’t think anyone is drinking beer for health reasons. If you choose to have a drink, a healthier option would be an organic red wine. There is no gluten, chemical additives, and you’re even getting some heart healthy antioxidants. Your next best options are organic white wine and champagne. Your assignment for this week is to evaluate the amount of alcohol you drink and see if there is any room for improvement. Can you reserve having a glass of wine only for the weekends? Can you have only one glass of wine or a cocktail instead of two?

Create the body and lifestyle you really desire by changing one habit at a time.
