From FANTASY LAND to consistently losing 2 lbs or more a week.

Today I’m sharing with you how to consistently lose 2 lbs or more a week and over 24 lbs in 90 days.

This is what I did to reach my ideal weight and what my clients are toing too.

I know it can be the most frustrating thing when you are taking steps to lose weight and be healthy and not seeing any results.

You are probably asking yourself, “What else I could be doing?”

You are working out more, eating less, having your veggies, skipping dessert (at least most of the time), and the scale doesn’t budge a pound.

Not long ago I was in your shoes.

I felt totally confused and couldn’t understand what was wrong with me.

How is it possible to eat so healthy, or so I thought, and still be far from my ideal weight… to be exact 20 lbs away…

I tried many things before I discovered a divine tool that helped me get to my ideal weight and helped hundreds of clients lose the weight they desired.

My Favorite BTS’s!

As long as I can remember I always felt hungry shortly after having a meal and loved to have a snack…  I had cravings for different foods that I couldn’t resist and keep eating after I was totally full. It was especially difficult for me to stay away from snacks after dinner.

Most people, including me, underestimate their food intake by about 25% and overlook their BTS’s; theirs bites, tastes and snacks. These daily indiscretions quickly add up to weight gain.

From FANTASY LAND into reality!

One of the most eye opening moments I had on my journey of trying everything was discovering the food diary or food log!

Studies show, and I see it day in and day out in my life and in my practice, that you can lose more than twice as much weight in the same amount of time if you keep a food diary!

As Nathaniel Branden said “The first step towards change is awareness”.

Talking about awareness! I realized that I was mostly snacking and not eating enough, eating mindlessly especially in the evening, skipping meals and then overeating.

Keeping a food diary can help you uncover some of the patterns that are happening unconsciously… and you may be as surprised as I was to see that at the end of the day that I was actually OVEREATING on a regular basis!

This really is stepping into the reality of how much food we are actually eating versus being in fantasy land of what we think we are eating… a really eye opening experience.

A food diary can also be a divine tool in discovering and healing any food sensitivities and allergies that are often the underlying causes of weight gain.

But for me the most important part is the connection I feel with my body, the deeper sense of knowing when I’m hungry and when I’m not, the ability to distinguish between real hunger and eating for emotional reasons.

A little bit of science and research to prove the point:

Kaiser Permanent Center for Health research followed more than 2000 dieters for six months and found that the single most important indicator for dropping weight was keeping a diary or a food log. People who kept food diaries lost more than 20 lbs in body weight and those who didn’t lost only 9 lbs.

WOW! I love research, the numbers really speak for themselves!

So, how do you start and when?

 

The formula is super simple: “You bite it, you write it… or type it!

And the best time is always NOW.”

You can use a pen and paper, your phone or use one of the tons of apps available to keep your diary.

The one I use is called Lose it and it’s FREE.

It is simple and user friendly, you can scan your products, create recipes if you are eating the same things most days and it takes seconds to get your food logged.
