I know it sounds like a dream… it was a dream for me too until I started my daily protocol of serious hydration.

Here is what I experienced when I implemented the plan and incorporated the recipes I will be sharing with you in a moment: no more feeling like my body was swollen and retaining water, no snacking, cravings and binging between meals… and my skin just changed overnight.

But, what if you, like me, don’t like drinking water all day long?

Keep reading I would love to share with you my favorite ways to get my 8+ glasses with ease… no sugar, artificial colors or preservatives.

My favorite Summer drinks are refreshing, filled with Vitamin C, they balance important electrolytes, like magnesium, potassium, zinc and calcium and help the body cleanse naturally.

Weight loss and hydration? You know I love science…

So, here are some serious studies and newest research:

A 2010 clinical trial confirms that people who drank two glasses of water before eating a meal lost about 5 pounds more (over the course of 12 weeks) than those who didn’t increase their water intake.

Researchers in Germany reported that drinking approximately 17 ounces of water increases our metabolic rate, the rate at which calories are burned, by 30%.

Did you know that OUR body takes the first signals of dehydration as hunger so we eat more, snack and binge.

My Daily Protocol: How To Drink 8+ Glasses A Day?

  1. Good Morning – My wake up ritual – 1 GLASS of water with lemon
  2. Breakfast – my morning smoothie or green juice 22+ oz – 2.5 – 3 GLASSES
  3. Hydration before lunch – 2 GLASSES – 10 – 11am
  4. Afternoon wake me up hydration – 2 GLASSES – 2 – 3pm
  5. Before bed – 1 GLASS

A Personal Note: I don’t drink during meals!

Our saliva and digestive juices work best if they are not diluted with water.

HOW to drink 8+ glasses of refreshing drinks a day… with ease? My favorite recipe and electrolyte drink.

First of all, I believe that when we know why we are doing something and how beautifully it works for our body we are more likely to do it.

Second, if something is pretty and is right in front of you… then you will remember and do it with pleasure.

My Favorite Summer Refreshments Recipes!

My Passion Iced Tea… or Rose Iced Tea

Pour hot water in a large cup with 2 sachets of passion fruit tea or rose tea and brew for 10 minutes.

Remove the tea bags and pour into a large pitcher, add cold water, fresh juice of 1 lemon, a few drops of Stevita from Brazil. Place in the refrigerator for a few hours (optional… or you can use a few ice cubes).

Serve with fresh slices of lemon, orange or other fruit and ice.

My Roseberry or Grape Electrolyte Water with Lemon.

Mix one scoop or 1 sachet of Ultima electrolytes with 20oz of water and fresh juice of ½ lemon and replenish your lost electrolytes.
