I’ll deconstruct the smoothie for you so you can see and understand the key ingredients that will make your smoothie super nutritious and great tasting! After watching this video you will feel confident and excited to start making them on your own.

My smoothies are dairy, gluten, and soy-free so you don’t have to worry about food allergies and food sensitivities!

Besides the fact that smoothies are easy and fun to make, they are also a complete meal with protein, fats and carbohydrates. Without smoothies many of us are not able to eat the same amount of fruits and vegetables during the day and get all the nutrients we need.

The reason I want to share with you the power of making smoothies is that this simple step helped me to make a big and powerful change in my way of eating.

When I started drinking smoothies everything changed. First of all I started having smoothies for breakfast and that was big for me because I have never ate breakfast. As a result I stopped starving myself in the morning, had more energy, less headaches, less cravings, and I lost weight.

That’s why I want to teach you today how you can take the first simple but powerful step to start changing your way of eating and nurturing your body.

Let’s introduce you to the 5 STEPS you need to learn to make your perfect smoothie.

And I’m not talking about the kind of smoothies that are full of sugar, yogurt, milk, and additional sweeteners, I’m talking about a REAL, powerful and nurturing green smoothie.

I’ll deconstruct the smoothie step by step so you know what you are doing and why.

Your Favorite Smoothie Recipe.

Step #1 

Take 1 handful of kale and one handful of spinach and put it into your blender.

 The reason why leafy greens are so important is that they are the most nutritious food on the planet high in calcium, magnesium, iron, potassium, zinc, and vitamins A, C, E and K. They are also high in fiber, folic acid, chlorophyll, and many other micro and phytonutrients.

Some of the benefits of eating dark leafy greens are: blood purification, cancer prevention, improved circulation, strong immune system, improved liver, bladder, and kidney functions. They are also very low in calories!

Step #2.

Add a cup to your favorite fruits and a banana to naturally sweeten your smoothie.

What fruits do you like the most? Strawberries, blueberries, mangos, peaches, cherries? Using colorful fruits in your smoothies gives you variety of nutrients and fiber.

Step #3.

Add healthy fats – 1 TBS of flax seeds or hemp seeds are great.

Adding healthy fats to your smoothie allows your body to absorb all the fat soluble nutrients to make it a complete and satisfying meal.

Step #4.

Liquid – you have many choices, but my favorite one is water because it has 0 calories!

You may use a cup or two depending on how thick you like your smoothies.

Step #5.

Blend your smoothie until smooth and creamy, and ENJOY.

The great thing about blending your smoothies is that you don’t have to chew all the ingredients for a half an hour, the blender does it for you. The blender cuts the membranes of the cells and releases the nutrients so your body can absorb them easily.
